same they called Friday ( I didnt answer as all (08) number seem to be hacked from asian call centers ) and again Tuesday of this week I answered and even knew my name !

Just had a call sat afternoon. She new my name but when I asked who was calling she hung up.

The phone rang but I was busy and didn't answer. When I rang #69 which is what you can do with optus and they will tell you(provided they have opted out. ie:Private No.) the number, the date, and time, of the phone call.
On reading these results it must be a scam -- time waster

Call ID showed (08) 6193 7050 Not anyone I know of So never answered call.. At least that Tax Office scammer with the recorded message saying I was going to gaol has stopped calling !!

Got a call offering me a new Government Tax benefit, got asked if I was a working home owner. When I said 'no', he said 'then what are you doing in Australia?' and hung up.

This number called me at 7pm on a Monday night. Women spoke and said she had important information about tax benefits for the working home owner and I asked her to be removed from their phone list and she hung up on me. Must be a scam.

Just had a call from this number but I did not answer. Great having a phone with caller ID. If the number is PRIVATE or looks strange, I don't answer it. The phone cost me $60 at d*ck Smith and about $3 charged each month by Optus. It's worth it.

Received a call just now. When I saw the '08' prefix, I suspected a scam and didn't pick up, particularly since it's Saturday afternoon!

Called to say he had fed Govt tax incentive if I owned my home, blah blah blah. I said what sound does a truck make in reverse mate? Then hung up!

Received call. Automated vice said, "good bye." Suspect that they hope you return this as a missed call, and you somehow find you have been debited with some telephone info service.

D**khead kept asking if I had trouble paying my mortgage or knew anyone. Mortgage here is paid for, how the hell would I know if a friend is having trouble??? Anyway, just eventually hung up when they asked where I was from. Just don't answer. Buggers me how they got past the do not call register!
