Scam callers "Microsoft/Telstra/NBN/BT/Visa/ATO (Insert name here) Technical Support” for virus and internet problems from overseas using a spoofed local number, we automatically divert them to our "Its Lenny" unwanted caller answering machine and let them try to scam him.

I just typed a lengthy enquiry/complaint on the Govt Do-Not-Call Register website, clicked send and the website crashed. I tried again as suggested, but no joy. No wonder the scammers, marketers and charities aren't worried about the DNC Register.

The standard pause at the beginning, signifying that it's being handed-off to an operator. She knew my name, but got the state I was living in wrong. As soon as I said 'No' to her first question, she hung up on me! So I didn't even get the (small) satisfaction of hanging up on her. Oh well.

My answer machine says, if you are a telemarketer hang up now, these scum bags need to get a rocket where it hurts the most.

Just received call - no message left on answer machine. Have received five different calls this afternoon alone on different numbers from over east. Called one back - said not connected. Scammers are busy this afternoon!

They just called but disconnected immediately when they heard the recorded message.

From a company called Wealth and Retire, wanting to inform me about new government tax benefits for working home owners. Called twice, 1 week apart. Let them know I was on DNC register and have lodged complaints. Lady on the phone said she would take me off their list.
Not sure what the tax benefits were or even if they were real as I requested the phone call to end as I was not interested.
