About a renewal charge for Amazon Prime which I don’t have

They told me they were from Telstra and my internet had converted from public to private and they needed me to check it urgently. I told them I’m not with Telstra and she got snarky with me. Wanted me to give them my IP address to run tests. I told them I was at work and they wanted to call back. And I said why to check if I’m being hacked? I said how about I call you back to verify who you are and hung up.

Didn't pick up and they didn't leave a message. Called and got a busy tone. Sounds like a scammer - others have posted saying it's from Amazon, Ebay, Telstra? What the??

Allegedly Telstra billing department wanting to give a discount.
When asked who they wanted to speak with, they couldn't say.

SCAM..... Indian lady telling me I needed to do something with my eBay account... I don't do eBay....SCAM

Called 19 past MIDNIGHT Australian time - morons, obvious scammers spoof number DO NOT ANSWER, they WILL pass your number to other scammer organizations ie: Sell it as "Answers"

Called today and claimed to be from the CBA visa department and started prattling about some customer and a visa payment and refund before I told him to get stuffed and I would be reporting them for scamming.

Didn’t answer, they left a voice message in a (likely) Chinese language

Caller: Said they were from ebay

Called saying they were from ebay and that someone created a fake account of mine and that they had purchases $400 of gift cards. The caller (Indian accent - female) said she would send me a link to cancel the order. While she spoke I searched this site and could see the other calls (thanks) so I strung her a long a bit and then mentioned them and asked her to tell me what she was really calling about and to tell the truth and then she hung up.

claimed to be from Telstra saying there were 7 overseas fraudulent users on my mobile internet. Hung up when he tried to get me to open a browser. Stupid scammers

Voice recorded message that claimed to be from EBay and said l had made a purchase for $299 which is untrue.

Yes it's a scam.

They told me amongst other things l could apply for a refund for the $299 or speak to customer service person by pressing 9 on my phone keypad which l did and a man with a Indian (?) accent answered.
I told him "f*ck off scammer" before he could reply and a hung up.
That felt good. 😂
