Caller: Number in Perth

I don’t answer any number I don’t know these days as always seem to be some sort of scam. Also don’t know anyone in Perth WA. If they leave a message they are legitimate callers and I will call back. If they don’t leave me a message I block the number. So many at the moment! Reverse Australia is so helpful! Thank you x

Caller: Impersonating ANZ Bank

Robo call - “ANZ” saying transaction on account- press 1 etc. woman responded was told fraud is a crime - she hung up.

There are no ligit phone numbers in Perth beginning with 61
Scammers for sure

Caller: Claimed to be from Telstra

Offered me a 40% discount on my mobile phone bill. Just needed my date of birth for verification (I didn't give it). Wanted my Telstra password for verification (I didn't give it). I said I would ring him back by calling official Telstra number, but didn't bother when I realized the call was from WA.

Have had 4 calls today from various unknown numbers, including this one. Immediate hangups when answer machine kicks in. Have blocked them now.

When answered could hear sounds similar to a call centre in background but whoever was on the other end didn't say anything and hung up after about 2-3 seconds. Number blocked and deleted and clearly Scammers

Didn’t answer it. Blocked. Don’t know anyone in WA. So many scam calls this week daily, driving me mad.

I have no debts so didn't bother answering
I get these type of calls almost every day

The "Calling from the accident hotline about your recent car accident" one

Caller: Claimed to be telstra

Said that my internet will be cancelled in 3 days.

Didn't answer and no message left. I'm in Sydney and don't know anyone in WA

Appears to be combank skam

As per the last note. I don’t know anyone in Perth and they didn’t leave a message. I don’t understand what these people are trying to achieve - no message equals no return call.
