I received a call from this number. Like many of you, I don’t answer calls from people I don’t know. If they don’t leave a message I always log on to Reverse Australia to get info. It’s nearly always a scam caller, who is already known to us.

Phone number rang and showed as suspected scam/fraud. Didn't answer and no message was left.

I did not answer the call as it was coming from Western Australia and I suspected a scam. No message was left.

Automated supposedly from Amazon about to debit me $99.99 for Amazon Prime which I did not sign up...

13th July 2023. I'm in WA. I Received a call on my mobile from (02) 8317 4985. Number is unknown to me & I don't answer these calls, particularly if they appear to emanate from interstate or overseas. Called the number back, masking my number (1831), to hear a garbled recorded message, not in an Australia accent, purporting to be from PayPal. Eventually a gent with a quasi American accent came on the line. When I suggested that the call was being recorded he terminated the call. SCAM - I don't have a Paypal account.

Said it was visa mastercard checking on transaction of $800 to Robert King from NZ - when I said it was supposed to be for $80,000 they got super excited then transfered to 'supervisor' who asked me to verify my card number :D nope nada na

Got a call from this number today, the guy said he was from the Commonwealth Bank Visa and Mastercard fraud department. I do not have a Commonwealth Bank account. Be wary.

said he was from NBN australia and started trying to get me to go through some stuff on my computer. Asked him some basic questions about my service provider info even my name to which he couldn’t answer stating he’s from tech support not accounts. scum bags mate

This guy rang me American Accent said he was from Australian Cyber Security Centre ..said my phone had been compromised by a fella named Samuel Cameron - being used to commit fraud in America also the IP address had been changed from Australia to Mountain View California.. wanted me to go to Google the in the search Bar enter details he gave me.... "I didnt open my computer just went along to find out more info

Automated message saying it was cancel my Amazon prime membership, which I don’t have.

Claim to be from Vodafone - said I am qualified for 50% off my plan. But then asked me for my details to see if I qualify. Strange.
