Scam call from WA. It went from my phone to the car via bluetooth - they sat on the phone with no voice for abut 30 seconds, I started to repeat the number on the display and they hung up after the 5th digit.

Caller: Scammers from india.

Filthy scammers, tried to tell me they were from "windows technical department" and when I said "I'm pretty sure my windows is working fine" they hung up. Australia needs to do something about these scammers I propose the following. Each time someone from India scams and Australian, that amount of money is given back to the victim and deducted from the foreign aid we pay to the Indian government. I bet they stop this and start arresting the scammers right away.

Indian accent supposedly calling from my internet provider

called, didn't answer. left no voice message but i could hear call centre activity in the background. straight to blocked numbers. my number is supposed to be private, so much for private! Sick of these scammers. Do yourselves a favour and download the app truecaller, it warns you of spam/scam numbers.

Caller said she was from ebay and stated that there was unusual activity on my ebay account. That I was trying to purchase a gift card from California for 400+ dollars. When I said no I didn't, she asked if I had given my password to anyone including family. When I said no she asked if I wanted to continue with the purchase. When I said no she wanted to put me through to some dept..Told her no thanks I will ring my bank....boom..she hung up

Caller: Security Dept - Bigpond

Said he was from Security Department of Bigpond - And that I had a problem. Not local accent. Put phone down when I said I was an IT Security Consultant - (-:

Received call today saying it was Ebay requesting payment of $275 for purchase I made (no purchases made) & to follow the prompts.

SCAM "this call is from your internet service provider"...hung up and blocked

Received call at 3-4pm did not acknowledge, Spam. on 2.5.2023 .

Recorded message from 'your bank' regarding unauthorized transaction for 1000usd, telling to press 1 to talk to someone or 2 to authorize the transaction. Just nope.

I hung up when I heard the accent. This site confirmed the phone number is used by scammers.

Amazon is aware of scam phone calls and text messages targeting customers stating they will be charged AU$79/$99 for a Prime membership. The caller is asked to 'Dial 1' to dispute a purchase or transaction / stop an auto-renewal of a Prime subscription

Caller said I was in a car accident when someone hit my car. I don’t own a car. When I said no he hung up.

Have had multiple calls from (08) 6186 xxxx numbers (Perth, Western Australia). They are scam calls, don't bother picking up.
