Saying they will withdraw 99 dollars for my Amazon account I don't have.

caller said they were from commonwealth bank and were trying to prevent $895 being transferred from my account by a global american company. They wanted to then know what type of phone I was using and when I questioned why they needed this information they got mad and hung up.

Scam caller said they were from Amazon verifying a purchase in my cart (which was there which meant my account was hacked) kept them on the line while I marked the account as compromised which boots everyone out of it. Very pushy and breathless when you say you know they are scammers!

“Alex” who stated they were calling from cybersecurity department of ACS, when I stated I had nothing to do with them nor did I, they hung up.

Recorded message about a security problem with my PayPal account. I don’t have a PayPal account. SCAM.

It's a scam. The caller said he was verifying a transaction from my bank account. I asked him to give me the account details and he hung up.

Called my landline. Since almost nobody knows our landline number (except our friends) and this was an unknown number, I knew this was a scam call.

Introducing himself as a security company and he ended the conversation straight after I said how did you get my phone number, also, he blocked me as I tried to call him back 3 times but no answer.

Do not give him any information.

It is a scam says call from ABN or NBN and only pray your data when I did not give them the conversation became stronger, do not give your data please

Stated technical department from NBN. Hung up on me when I said I don't have NBN and told her she was obviously a scammer.

Didn’t leave a message but call apparently originated from Perth.
Can see from above it’s scam.

She said she got my number from some Sierra Leone in West Africa
She said that the call was about energy bills. I just spoke to AGL yesterday. And I got this call today. Hope AGL is not linked with the scam

So the guy in a foreign accent claims they are from Visa and Mastercard security and are asking if I would authorise a payment of $800 to a Doctor (name not familiar Ha!)
I tried to keep them on the line but they hung up. An unsophisticated scam, but it may be a phone number verification test. Oh well.
Source was identified as Perth Australia. Hang up and block
