Number not connected when called back

Caller: Said they were Telstra

Foreign accent saying they were ringing about my Telstra account. I don't have one! Scam

Claimed to be from Telstra and I need to follow his instructions and make changes to my internet service to fix some issues. I told him to send out a technician and I heard a “ ugh “ and I hung up.

Claimed they were from Amazon Security Services and that someone in California had purchased something in my name - "whereas you live in Perth". I don't live in Perth and I don't deal with Amazon. Scam.

weird sounded like a call centre but did not answer sounded Indian. I hung up before it got anywhere sounded like scam

Said was from Telstra, I’ve never had Telstra in my life..

Making out they are from Telstra and that my internet has been hacked
when I asked which of my accounts had been hacked, he said my home.
I then told him I do not have Telstra at home, he hung up.

Why does the govt stop this number from being used.

thought it was a scam.

Said from Telstra, foreign accent, call centre sounds, something about my internet. Hung up before he finished his spiel!

Visa AND Mastercard calling re. unknown transaction. Yet another Indian call centre.

Did not leave a message on voicemail. Given comments here blocked number.

Caller: Claimed to be from NBN

The female caller claimed to be from the NBN. I immediately hung up & checked the number on this site to confirm it was a scam caller.

Claimed to be from Optus. Obvious scam call since they were hacked.

Caller: This number called me

Operator came on and said I've purchased a $500 gift
Card and that the $500 will be deducted from my bank.

Caller: Scammer

Amazon scam. I get the same scam with the same script, 3 times a day.

I am calling you in relation to an accident you recently had. When I said Really he hanged up.

Called but no one answered, assuming its a scam

getting a batch of these usually over a run of few days. it must be my number is passed to another scam crew! when I answer I don't say anything and they hang up. it annoys me the telcos aren't doing anything about this because they obviously profit
