Claiming to be from Amazon saying someone has set up a fraudulent account in my name. Wanted me to let them help with deactivating etc. Dodgy

Claimed to be from telstra, told her I wasn't interested because your a lying b$%&c and a scammer and hung up before she could respond.

Recorded message saying they'd received a payment request for $299.99 and my account was going to automatically debited. If I didn't want this to happen I had to press '1'. Hung up and reported them to scamwatch.

Scam call, didn’t answer, no message left.

Just received call from this number. Didn’t answer as I don’t know anyone in Perth. Checked here and found these comments. Thanks. Will block and report

SEA accent claiming to be "Telstra", warning me my internet IP address has been set to public. Hung up when I questioned what service they are referring to.

I hate to be that person but I could not understand what the woman said "...shra billing department" maybe? I did ask for clarification but she spoke so fast and such a thick accent I couldn't get it. I am with Telstra but I don't owe them any money. Maybe they need to confirm my ID as banks have been doing lately. Anyway, I didn't answer when she called again and no message was left. I have no actions when I logon to Tesltra APP so I think this is a scam call.

picked up, heard nothing on the other end, they hung up after 15 seconds. assuming scam based on these comments

Claimed there was a fraudulent charge of $1344 on my visa and to press buttons to be put through to fraud department

Caller: Claimed she was Telstra billing.

She knew my name.

Claimed to be from Visa security. I don't have a Visa card.

Caller: Said NBN

Called this morning, claimed to be NBN (who we have been told will never cold call) and said my internet wasn’t working 🤨
Told her she was a scammer, she got very irate and hung up 😂😂
