Bloke claimed to be from Telstra and wanted me to do something with my IP Address
from accent coulda been from Mumbai, then hung up when I asked for a number to call him back on - rude bastard- prob a hacker etc

Claimed to be from commonwealth bank. Asked me to connect to their secure server, very thick Indian accent, let her talk for 10 minutes then asked her if these phone calls actually work and they get any money from people working as scammers? Hung up straight away, so rude! Haha

Probably a scam call.
Claimed to be from Amazon

That he is from Telstra and I had some computer viruses....when I told him yes I have a virus, a common cold virus

Said they were from Telstra. Extremely thick Indian accents. Transferred me thru to her manager to offer me 50% back on my spend for the next 6 months. Had one of my email addresses and asked me to confirm the other. Stupidly did then they hung up.

Caller hung up when I answered, I have blocked this number. Seems to be a scammer.

Claimed to be from Visa and asked if I authorised a payment of $400 to Mark someone in California.

Bloke claimed to be from the Commonwealth Bank querying an overseas debit on my card. Message, accent and background noise seemed suspicious so I hung up.

Automated message saying they were calling from Visa/Mastercard and that a transaction of $900 needed to be approved, press 1 to authorise the transaction or 2 to speak to someone from the bank. I hung up. Spam for sure. I did double check my bank and all was fine.

Caller: Claimed to be Amazon security

Amazon security section and called me a different name. When I said that is not me, he replied “are you sure?”
As if I didn’t know my name. Truly creepy
And with so many complaints &different stories
Why is this number still valid ? Still in action ?

Same, called and said she was calling from Telstra saying that our internet was having issues. So I said.. we have multiple telstra nbns, which one is the one with the issue? she changed topic.. so I said.. i think you have a problem.. not our internet. And she hang the phone :) LOL

claimed to be from the Commonwealth Bank querying a suspicious transaction. I don't even have account with Commonwealth Bank Account! Hung up and blocked!

Recorded message with Australian female voice claiming to be from Visa/Mastercard that an amount of $1399 was about to be charged to my account, press 1 to speak to an operator. Indian accented male voice answered, I told him to f##### off. Had plenty of these calls in the past with an American accented voice, so they must have figured out that a local voice may sound more legit.

Recorded message claiming to be from Amazon, and that my Amazon Prime account has expired, and that I was about to be charged $199

tried to call back at this number, but it says it cannot be connected, it was blocked because of this feature.

Scam. Claimed to be from NBN. A lot of people/ conversations heard in background. Indian accent. I told him where to go.

A male person with an Indian accent claimed to be from the NBN and said it was about my internet. It is a Perth phone number. I hanged up straight away and blocked the number.

Called me I didn't answer and no message left. I suspect a scam

Claimed to be from Amazon. Said that I had an active account. I asked a few questions about this account that I don't have. She tried to convince me that it was a genuine call & not a scam. I told her that I would report her to the police & www.scamwatch.gov.au She quickly hang up the phone. Please be careful with your personal information.

Missed called. Whoever called didn't leave a message either. It does seem like spam though.
