Caller: They claimed to be Australia’s Cyber Security Centre

They claimed to have found our number had been stolen and used to purchase Woolworths vouchers which they would “cancel” for us. They got us to install remote access software and actually made purchases instead. Should have realised sooner. Don’t answer them. :(

They just called but didn't leave a message.

They claimed to call for Amazon, saying they'll deduct $99.99 from my bnk account to renew my membership. If i want more info to press 1.
I don't have an Amazon account.

Called to say a transaction for $399 had been made on my Paypal account if I did not make this payment press 1. I hung up

Called my 74 year old parents and Claimed they were from IINET and they had been hack by 6 different people at once. Kept trying to get them to get on the computer and access face book, bank accounts privacy settings etc. Ended up hanging up

They said they were Amazon and were confirming whether I had ordered a new iPhone for $800. They asked if I had made this order and because it was obviously a scam I said "yeah sure, what a cheap phone!" and they hung up ha

Recorded message claiming to be from PayPal about 900$ payment request, wanted me to press numbers to speak to representative 😂

Called and hung up.

Mastercard scam

Caller: (08) 6186 7503 Scammers!

Claimed to be a security company checking on fraudulent use of my credit card. They gave 2 amounts supposedly taken and asked for my card's expiry date to prove who I was. I refused that then THEY gave my HUSBAND'S name and correct DOB.... (He is the primary card holder) to try and convince me that they were for real!! Started pressuring me stating in 1/2 hr they would let these "transactions" go through. I told them I was calling my bank immediately and hung up. Bank confirmed no such amounts had been drawn on our account but cancelled the card and asked me to report to police who then asked me to report to CyberCrime
Site which I did. Received another of these same calls today despite blocking the original number which appeared to be quite local!!! Tell them nothing, ring your bank and report it and warn all your friends. These people claimed to have my home address, email address..... having my husband's DOB was bad enough. There has been major security breach somewhere and I was advised by CyberCrime to change the log in details on MyGov account.

told me they indian woman she was from cyber security australia claimed a person in america was using my mobile number then told me they were tracking my phone to find location and then told me i was in california l told them it was it was a scam of course i hung up maybe i hung on for too long

Pre-recorded voice saying that I had a purchase against my visa account for over $1300. BS. I hung up.

Visa/Mastercard online payment required $1300.00

Saying they are from Telstra and Ip address is public not private
