scammers rang. rang back number disconnected

I called back number (08) 6153 5708 rang once then gets disconnected automatically.

Missed call from this number. Number is disconnected when dialled.

I have had the same thing the last few days so I've just blocked them on my phone.

Why can't these people be reported to the police for harassment

Caller: A heavily accented man

After the 2 second delay for them answer the line, I tell them that I’m not interested.
He then says “but you don’t know what I’m calling about”
I say, “you’re right, what is it”

He then tells me “you’re full of bullsh*t, you said you weren’t interested, your full of bullsh*t”!!

At least they’re getting a bit of character!!

They hung up when I answered, I rang back and get the message "optus advisers that the number has been disconeected".

Caller: No idea would not answer on call back

Stupid spam call blocked

Caller: Asian sounding man

Wanted to know my name. Wouldn't identify himself. Scam. Blocked number in my phone.

Scam. said he needed to speak to me on a very serious matter.
I said I don't have any serious matters. and he just hung up.

Caller: Scammers

Calling themselves the ato but when I asked what it stood for. They hung up on me.

Appears to be a bad scam and they would say who the caller was. Be wary as they had my name and it maybe related to ATO scam
