Same thing happened to me, they said “Sorry, just to check, are you ‘insert my name’? Sorry, can you repeat?”

Caller: (08) 6149 7280 Pretty sure it’s a scammer trying to get your voice.. since they didn’t realise they went my voicemail asked if I know *insert name here* then it went blank for 15 seconds and they said sorry can you repeat that again. I highly suggest not answering calls from this number as it is likely a scam

Caller: Sounds like a robot or Ai They say “Hello is this …” and then hang up :/ I think it’s an Ai bot trying to get you to talk so can repeat your voice in Ai

Kept ringing and ringing but wouldn't leave a message, I know that's not helping much but thinking it's an AI scam, just don't say yes no hello or anything normal

Likely a scam Left a message after I didnt answer. Message to text read "All right I won’t leave a message I'll let them try again later. Take care" I have been getting heaps of spam and potential fraud calls/sms lately this appears to be another one
