They are asking for donations to help volunteers in the community to respond to calls through the first responder ap. When I questioned him about they don’t pay the volunteers he said it’s to help keep the ap in service… what a load of baloney!!! St John’s make a huge profit out of the volunteers in the regional areas. They throw a lavish conference once a year with no expenses spared. They charge to put the cheap AED’s around the region. They screw over the paramedics too. Worst company to work for so bypass donating to them and donate elsewhere!! They have enough $$$

They call from different numbers including this one and (08) 9548 7048 and (08) 6149 7186 and (08) 6234 0074. They just hang up. If they are soliciting donations why do they hang up. I have blocked all numbers. Maybe scammers checking numbers and spoofing through this local number. Spoofing is on the rise.

They say they are Smart Health Australia calling g on behalf of St John's, however they hang up when you answer. I think it is scammers spoofing through an Australian number.
