Wanted to speak to my surname - obviously reading from a list

I've been getting calls every days from this number but caller doesn't leave a message.

I answered, but no one spoke and then they hung up. 08 prefix so it's from Perth I guess, I am in Perth so I answered. I am also on the Do Not Call Register. BLOCKING THEIR NUMBER NOW!

Wanted to talk about solar rebate, he's in Western Australia and I'm in Tasmania! I hung up

probable scam pretending to be representing Victorian energy savings or something;
Indian call center; I told them to stop calling my do-not-call registered number.

Call centre - heavy filipino accent. Asks if I have solar panels installed. Blocked.

Received call, no one speak or leaves a message!

Same here, multiple times a day.

Cannot call number back.....

They hung up when I answered. Didn’t have my glasses on otherwise I would have not answered just blocked I’m in Melb don’t know anyone in Perth

Caller: Sales person wanting to give me a monitoring device for my electricity usage

Told the salesperson I already have one. Don’t waste my time. Scam to access my house.

Just received a call from this number,, just blocked it

Caller: Scam Call

Said his name was Jai and he was on Federal Govt Rebate Scheme. Knew my first name. Asked if he was in Australia and told him he should be if representing Federal Govt. Said hecwas in Blacktown. Gave him some s#$t about when I lived near Blacktown, told I was on Do Not Call Register, told him not to ring again M^&*()f£÷#@r and hang up.
Indian accent.

Received 5 Missed calls from this phone number. Called back and was silent for a few seconds then said hello after hearing noises in the background (my dog squeaking his toy).
Continued to call again even after hanging up and blocking.

DO NOT CALL register is a joke.

Nuisance calls about energy saving device (which I already have)
Reported to the do not call register, hopefully they get fined and banned.

Same as others..lots of noise in the background..no one speaks at all.
