Call center Scam. Person on other end said he can give me a discounted energy bill. The call center sounded like it was based in India.

I am from Indian background and have spoken to these idiots few times and they are all based and operating from Pakistan, this is also evident from there Hindi/Punjabi accent which is Pakistani.

Trying to blame Pakistan who even don't have 1% of this market comparing India. All famous fraud and scams come from "Incredible India".

working from home i have to answer all calls and these idiots are just annoying hell out of me. Australian government should do something about this. there shouldn't be any facility of hiding number

Glad my phone can display caller ID so I can screen incoming calls. Never answer unknown callers like this one...! Government should find the way to stop this scammers...

Indian Scammers. Annoying the heck out of me they have also tried using 0404 404 867.

I received a cold call from a man with a thick Indian or Pakistani accent offering me discount on my utilities. The number is Perth, WA based (or routed). I get a lot of sales people door knocking with a similar offer so I was skeptical from the get go. When I told him this he said "how much", seeming to think I was talking about 'a lot of discounts' - and he was going to try to beat them. I asked where he got my number, but he ignored my question and hung up.

Do some research and everything links back to India with fake names, cards and location.

Look like Indian Scammers active in Australia. Please be dont answer those ....

Does not matter Indian or Pakistani or Bengali or Nepalese... the call from subcontinent.

How do they get our mobile numbers. This is the second time I have received a call from them and when I pick up they speak in Urdu saying they are from a discounted energy company. Just disconnected and blocked the number.

An idiot from this number called a couple of times. These idiots are based in Gujarat, which I googled is a place in India.
