Scam call saying it's eBay and I'm expecting a delivery

Scary scam. Claimed to be from eBay confirming a purchase made using my phone number as a buyer reference, couldn’t give me an order number or any details of payment method used. Wanted contact details so they could help resolve the issue. I checked with eBay, not them and they don’t make such calls. Frighteningly convincing tho’

Caller: spam- calling themselves ebay

received a voicemail but it was mid-conversation with a female's recorded voice (not robotic) saying $99.99 would be debited from my account and to press 1 to speak with an operator to transfer the order. No idea who called.

They claimed to be from EBAY wanting authorising a debit from my account for over $200.

Caller: Some person who reckoned they were from eBay

I laughed in their general direction when they said they were going to debit my account for $299.99 for an eBay purchase that didn't exist. Told them to try it and they'll have a s***fight on their hands and hung up. Scammers.

Caller: Debt collectors

Saying they are from a company called credit Corp

Caller: R Sole

said I owed them money & it would be taken from my bank account.

I tried to call back the number (08) 6146 2939 but the person who picked up the phone disconnected the call
