Answered the number, got an automated message stating it was Amanda from the claims department (no mention of company), and if I was involved in a motor vehicle accident in the last 6 months to press 1, and press 2 if I wanted to be removed from their list. I hung up. Have heard of scam calls of a similar nature, so can only assume it’s a scam. Received a similar call but from a human about 9 months ago, after I was involved in an accident, but when I was vague (him: you were involved in an accident; me: maybe; him: stumbled then hung up on me), and about a month later heard that it was a scam and to report

I called back the number (08) 6118 1621 and reached vm that did not mention the company name

Recorded voice saying it was Amanda from Claims Department. Have not been in an accident so hung up and blocked number.

A scam. Pre-recorded message left on messagebank stating if I'd been in an accident I may be eligible for compensation.

Missed call from what seemed to be a local landline.? Called them back got a recorded msg from an Amanda @ claims department (no company).about an accident (thats never happened). Press 1 if so or 2 to delete my num off list.nuisance caller wasting my time.outright blocked them.

Exact same automated message from "Amanda". I hung up and blocked the number.
