The person was from a call centre and perhaps when I answered he realised I was the wrong type of person expected and terminated the call

Caller said he was calling from the ATO and asked for my name. I asked why he was calling me and he said I just want to f... you and hung up! I have reported him to the ATO.

Called me and as I couldn't hear what he was saying he went into a rant - said I had sex with my mother Mothef******* and was a real piece of work. Why are they allowed to usea landline number and get away with this rubbish with impunity? More action is needed to track down and prosecute these scammers

Caller: Fake ATO Called to say ATO had miscalculated my refund. Needed my details to pay the refund. I replied that the ATO already has my details and that if he was really from the ATO he could drop it in my account like usual. He hung up. I called back and unloaded on him. Next stop is to report the number to police.

ATO Scammer - I rang the number back and asked him why he was calling when the ATO usually sends letters via mygov.... needless to say the arsehole hungup.

Another scam, I presume. Started by saying he (in an Indian accent) was there to solve some problems for me. Wanted to check on my name. I'm not about to confirm that to a scammer! He just hung up.
