Received a call from this number, but it rang out before I could answer. A voice mail was left in chinese, which is completely pointless. Assume telemarketer.

Call from Esperance W.A claiming to be from the foreign office and I needed to complete a form to receive a package.
I am in QLD and it is clearly a scam.

Called back and it says 'Thank you for calling China Taiping Insurance' Didn't wait on the line though.

Caller: Claimed to be Australian immigration about an important document

Scam call, auto machine stated Australian immigration, Rang the number back, automated answering message was Cha-Ping insurance

This is a robo call scammer who has breached some database or some fool corporation (like the Commonwealth Bank of Australia) whose brilliant board has sold it's a database to it's advertising partners and somewhere along the line it has been acquired for criminal purposes - if being a corporation wasn't criminal enough by their stupidity.
