I called back number (07) 5655 3600 reached IVR for a company called Australian Contact Center.

It was Beteasy

They rang, I answered and they hung up. scam caller.

Trying to sell Kayo (not sure how it’s spelt) some sort of TV Foxtel sort of thing via “activating through a link” the guy was very polite when I said not interested so hopefully it’s more of a telemarketing gimmick than a scam

Australian Call Centres. Called 5 times in one day. The next day I was able to answer the call. Told the operator that I was on the Do Not Call Register, and could she please take me off her list as she should not be calling me. She argued with me that I was not on the Do Not Call Register (a quick check confirmed that I was) and laughed at me when I argued back. Pest callers and rude operator.

Answered call and they hung up on me straight away.

I continue to receive calls from (07) 5655 3600 despite blocking the number on my phone. How can this be????
They are a nuisance

Said they were from a new company about tax incentives. I said politely not interested twice- then she hung up on me.

just received a call from this number about something federal govt tax incentive and eligibility.
not sure what they were wanting from me.
leave the tax job to my accountant.

everyday now the last week, not answering,

They call and do not know who they are calling. ie I asked who they were after and they said 'the owner of the phone'. They claim to be from Aussie Protect - a health insurance comparison company. They then tell me all the details of a Health policy that i don;t own. So I just asked them to put me on the Do Not Call list.

I have blocked this number after checking it on this site, but they still keep ringing from the same number. How does that work?
