Oh, Wise One, Oh Knower Of All Matters ATO, didn't you know that taxation is theft and therefore both the ATO AND D & B are scammers, by Crom, you won't last long when the Great Old Ones return!!!

D & B at it again using another number. ATO have already warned people against taking calls from these scammers so block them!!!! ATO fon't ring peopke - they send a letter. Report them! Not even same number as the real company.

First sent text message yesterday with return 1300 number and number to quote. Didn’t call - immediately blocked number. Now I just got a call from Southport number, message left is computerised asking me to return call and quote number. Just say it’s urgent. Blocked this number too now.

A guy with strong Indian accent claimed I had money owing to ATO. I told him I had no debt n insist he sent me a written claim. Thinking back this is definitely a scam n the proper authorities should investigate before someone really get scammed.

I don't know why the proper authorities are not doing anything about this. It wouldn't be hard to find out where those numbers are coming from if you get in contact with the right people.It's really starting to piss me off because with my profession, I have to answer my phone on every call and its starting to take up my time in doing so. These people are not going to stop, its like their full time job to scam people.

Since when did the ATO not make calls. Also ATO hire D&B. If you don't have a debt no need to worry. If you know you have one then the next step after a call is a letter. Check ATO website https://www.ato.gov.au/Business/Payments-to-ATO/If-you-don-t-pay/External-collection-agencies/
