Caller: Scammer

Received unsolicited text saying I have been issued with a $3000 travel shopping spree. This is widely reported as being a scam where you are asked to give your credit card number to accept the money. The scammer then uses your credit card for their own purchases, leaving you with a credit card liability.

Just received same text message including the same confirmation no.56777 from 0427 730 432 and asking me to call (03) 9071 1843. Don't think I'll bother.

Same messages as everyone else except my text came from 0427 730 432 and asked me to call (03) 9071 1843 - there is an unsubscribe - reply stop option but I don't trust that either...

Knew my name and from 0429 414 619 mobile, confirmation code 56777 and (07) 5646 4911 phone number to ring.

Same message as others stated here, recd by text today 29Mar, saying that due to recent travel have won spending spree. Is a scam. Thanks for the comments on this site.

Complete scam of course. Called the number from a private line to have a laugh. Hilarious, it rings for a while then goes to American voice message 'stay on the line'. No business name given.

Received it today with the same code as everyone else! Lucky I checked on here first. I love this webpage! Thanks to whomever started it.
