Applied and approved for a $200 loan well over a year ago. I paid back $400. They’re now trying to claim I owe $1700. They prey on the financially vulnerable and are designed to push people further down in debt. I feel so silly to have gotten involved with them. I, like others who have used them, was desperate and needing money for medication. Now I have a huge debt when I adhered to their rules. The debt has been accumulated from monthly account keeping fees dishonoured that they’ve tried to debit from my bank account but I don’t use that account anymore. They’re threatening to send to debt collectors.

Scumbag company. DONT EVER APPLY FOR A LOAN WITH CIGNO. Theyre fees and interest rates are ridiculously high and expensive. You borrow $250 and end up paying back 4 times the amount. How they get away with it is ridiculous. No hardship or leniency. You schedule a repayments that dont go through on their end so you get fall behind and pay fees, even though it isn't your issue, when they have your details from depositing the amount. STAY AWAY FROM THESE VULTURES. They dont have a heart

Had text messages saying I owed money and created an account. Rather then opening links I rang the contact number and of-course got voicemail in the middle of a work day. Appears to be a fishing scheme.

Ive had the exact same problem from a $200 loan aswell. Paid back close to $600 initially thinking it'd been paid off, then a year or 2 later they started hassling me again saying I still owe over $1500. They actually still take out $30 a fortnight now without my consent.

I took out a $150 loan with them. Paid them back $600 and thought I had well and truly closed the account. That was 4 months ago. Now I’m receiving threats in the form of calls, messages, letters from them claiming I still owe them $1500. I checked their account statement, it’s all account fees that they’ve slapped on. They’re threatening me with debt collectors and court. How are these thieves still in business? I used them to help me get home from a hospital stay when I had ran out of sick leave and had no other option. Please avoid this place like the plague! I don’t want to see what’s happened to me happen to anyone else!

I took a $150 loan out of desperation made three $70 repayments and then they began attempting to take money from my account 2 days earlier than what I had arranged. So I then ended up with failed payment charges so I told my bank to cease all future payment requests from them. They are evil and should be shut down.

Seems I am not alone. $250 loan, paid back over $480, now they are charging me a $79 fee despite my final payment being $62 (that's on top by the way so they now say I owe them $141). Avoid like the plague!

I got a $290 loan early last year and have been paying back nearly over 2 years to cigno. I told it to my bank they cut them off and looking into how much they made me pay I roughly look through my bank statement and it's over 1000 something I've paid so
heart breaking they could do this to people!

This disgusting operator should be shut down by Scamwatch. They got my mobile number and keep sending unsolicited sms messages to fake ‘first names’ promoting loans. They also pass your phone number onto gambling sites such as Bonza Spins etc. SHUT THEN DOWN NOW!

Non stop calls from this loan centre. Demanding I pay even after the tv reports and negative facts about their practices on the radio etc. I wish I was curious about what I was getting into assuming it would be the same as my other loan agency. The ease to get a 170$ loan and have to pay them back over 400$. I took it to another lender and they told me Cigno just do what they want. I feel they took advantage of me during a time of sincere need. They understand desperation and the current laws to work around. Some how they can take the 90$ from my savings account consistently but my bank gets the money back next day. Beware of Cigno.
