Not a phone call as such. I received a dodgy email supposedly from Amazon telling me they had put what they thought to be a fraudulent purchase/payment on hold.
"In case you have done this transaction you don't have to do anything. Whatsoever in the next 48 to 72 hours. And if you don't find this is a legit purchase, we request you to kindly give us a call immediately on Amazon security Support (07) 5641 1379."
The phone number was a link. If you get this email too DO NOT click the link. Dodgy turds needs to get a life.

Caller: This number is associated with Amazon scam email

This is a scam email pretending to be from Amazon … claiming you’ve made a purchase that needs to be verified by ringing this ‘customer service’ number
I blocked the number and reported the scam email to the real Amazon

"Thank you for your purchase.
We have put a hold on a suspicious payment of $429.00.

Your Bank account has been charged for $429 towards the payment for Avast Antivirus, And we have a reason to believe that your Bank account have been used fraudulently.

So we have put this payment on hold, until and unless we hear it from you.

In case you have done this transaction you don’t have to do anything, Whatsoever and the charges will appear on your account, in upcoming statement in the next 48 to 72 hours.

And if you don’t find this is a legit purchase, we request you to kindly give us a call immediately on
