keeps calling and hanging up...

Very rude and persistent caller. Do not answer this number. Just trying to sell you life insurance.

Received an unsolicited call from this number. As soon as the caller started his "pre prepared" speel about what my life insurance requirements were, I advised him I was not interested. He continued to argue with me and in the end I gave him a mouthful of language and hung up. Most telemarketers will politely conclude calls when the recipient says they are not interested. This mob are a disgrace.

They claimed it was a "courtesy call to talk about my life insurance" I told them it wasn't a courtesy call and they are trying to sell me something and that they should never call me again. Have added to 'auto reject list' on my mobile.

Had a few missed calls from this number with no message. When I picked up the call today there was an incoherent English chav on the other end who could barely speak comprehendible English.

Said it was a courtesy call from the Australian Contact Centre on the Gold Coast to see if I had all my policies for life insurance etc in place. Having some irritating backpacker, who can barely string together a sentence in their own language, calling me on my mobile phone is not courteous at all. Idiots.

Have now added this number to my blocked number list.

Same scenario as everyone else on this. Answered my mobile and they hung up before answering Anyway I've put their number on my phones reject call list. I like my phone's terminology "reject list", because all these people are a bunch of time wasting rejects in my opinion.

Great info, I received a call from the number today, thanks to this site I now have it listed in m y phone as "don't answer".

I don't know why they have called me.

Ive got three phone calls this week. If its cold calling shouldn't they cross my name off the list once I tell them I have insurance?

same thing has happened to me. i got a new optus sim and i cant stop this number calling me. so dissapointed with optus

i got a new optus sim few days ago and now i keep getting calls from two numbers (07) 5600 0098 and (03) 9452 9527. i blocked the second number but now they started calling from a new number. i am worried how they got my number and why they wont stop calling. they basically call then hang up. i worry if i call optus ill be stuck talking to someone in india who will probably just give my number to more companies to harass me. i am not sure how to stop them from calling me few times a day.

Just received a cold call from this number to my mobile, a Telemarketer asking question about my Insurance status. I polity explained that it was not their business. She "Ok, thanks" and hung up. I wish that I had requested to remove my number from their contact list - Bugger!

claimed to be from a life insurance org, never know reputable life insurance companies to cold call mobiles at 7 am. seems fishy AF

I've had this phone for a while know and I've never got a call from people trying to sell or get me to sign up for things and today I got a phone call from them, I slept in and woke up around 12 and got a phone call and I didn't know the number but I answered anyways and said hello and she said hello this is becki and then asked me how I was and I said good? And then she hung up on me? Lol so I looked up the number and came to this site and then decided to call back, a nice lady answered and I told her somebody called me and then hung up and then she started telling me about life insurance and stuff but then I told her I'm only 15 ( yes I'm only 15 ) and she nicely said she would make sure I wouldn't get a call again :) so I guess it turned out alright ?

Had a couple of calls from these people and my mobile number is only a few months old. Must have been optus that leaked my info as I dont give this new number out. Time to change phone companys maybe.

call and said they where from a life insurance company or something called virgin and asked how old I was so I said 16 and they hang up for me haha

got a call from this number (07) 5600 0098 to my mobile dont know how they got it but it is telemarketers dont answer to this number it is a scam they are only after your money and your private details just tell them to f*ck off and dont ring this number again you can call to block this number just ring your phone company or go online.

Cold calling for some insurance company. Called our company help desk number, then said it wasn't a wrong number, and continued their spiel until I hung up.
