They run a scam and if you look at their financials you will see very little goes to the volunteers. Its a call centre running collections for the few by the look of it

I didn't want to do a donation over the phone, so they sent me a link to their website. I picked my brigade and made a donation. Receipt came in email following day.

Call id says it's from Gympie (Qld) . They did not leave a message so must not be important

Always like to help the volunteers! my local council collects a fire levy, but they just spend it on themselves slashing the sides of roads.

Called and never left a message. Judging by other comments it appears to be rural fire service, but I pay a levy for this in my rates.

Number in outbound group for RFBAQ. Supervisor number was (07) 5430 1369? when I worked there in Mary St opposite Westpac Bank.
We’re moving into a Forestry building out on Fraser Rd.
Definitely legit and if I had $100 I’d take some art union tickets by credit card as numbers are entered into banking system live, and NEVER recorded.
