I have been receiving calls from them, picked buh no one is talking

I called back number (07) 5414 3131 spoke to a woman who said company name is Alinta Energy.

I keep getting calls from this number and no one leaves a message

I had a missed call from this number so called it back - got a voice recorded message stating it was from Alinta Energy with an offer and that a customer service rep would be with me shortly. I however hung up.

I’ve been receiving calls from this unknown number nearly everyday and every time I answer no one talks for about 3-4 seconds then hangs up.
Even if I don’t answer the call they never leave a message.

Never answering unknown numbers anymore. Bloody time wasters.

a rude telemarketing company; we have got to the stage where we ignore all calls from parties who don't leave a message; if its Alinta Energy; this sought of rudeness would drive me to use any power company other than Alinta

Told me they were calling to offer me a better deal on my energy provider. I don't like cold calls so I said no thanks and hung up.
