I got the same message left from this number saying $299.99 was going to be deducted from my account from an eBay purchase. It was a robotic voice. Scam.

Caller: Scammer - eBay Just had a missed call with no msg and when I called the number back they said they where eBay and asked to confirm if I purchased a $299 gift card and that I need to cancel the gift card by connecting to their secure eBay server using an app called “Splashstop SOS” or the funds may be direct debited from my account. I told them I did not trust the phone call and would not be downloading any apps and hung up

Stating they were debiting an amount from my account and if I didn't wish for the debit to press 1 etc. Clearly a scam.

Random garbage messages left from this number on my messagebank. Weird accent, not sure which it's meant to be, machine voice, asking something about accounts, I don't know. Never bothered calling them back because seems like another obvious scam.

Caller: Scammer Scam. (07) 5353 6089 left a recorded voicemail message on my mobile stating "Thank you for your e-Bay purchase, $299 will be deducted from your account. Phone back if you did not make this purchase". No purchase was made via eBay. If you receive similar call or recorded message do NOT phone back as this scammer will very probably ask for your bank details in order to "rectify" the purported eBay transaction. Could result in fraudulent access to your bank account.
