Received a call from (07) 5234 8197 at 6:28 pm AEST on 19/12/24. After a long while of silence a male called Gary (with a strong accent) started speaking like he knew me. I asked how he got the number. He said he was calling about the solar rebate and asked if I had solar panels. I asked again how he got my number and he repeated himself. I asked a third time where he got my number from and he said Australian Database Management Company. I asked him to remove my number from the call list. He argued it was not a sales call. I stated this was an unauthorised call and instructed him to remove my number from the call list. He kept arguing it wasn't a sale call, got angry and hung up.
