Have had 2 calls today on my mobile from this number - similar to other reports the caller claims to be Telstra and that my internet connection will be suspended for 20 days. This morning I replied, "that's rubbish" and they hung up. Repeat call this afternoon and I waited to hear what the scam is. Woman said every time I now connect to the internet my computer will be accessible to criminals and that they would like to help fix the problem. This is a scam and they will either be wanting a fee to 'fix the problem' or try to get consent to take remote control over my computer.

Scam - Claiming to be Telstra and they are going to disconnect my internet... my internet isn't even with Telstra. Ask them to confirm the name on the account and they hung up.... Sick of these arseholes

I called back number (07) 5232 6445 rang 5 times then goes to busy tone.

How is it that this number rang me and when I rang it back I got the Telstra “this number is not connected”?
