Caller: claiming to be ebay

Robot message saying confirmed purchase of 299.99 will be debited from my account. press 1, 2 or 9 for different responses.

Yes i've received the same message twice. One yesterday, blocked number, then no registered call in my list, but voicemail still came through today.

Claiming to be e-bay with a $299 order to confirm etc. today 11 March 2022

Same message saying amount being debited and options to cancel etc. dodgy as

I received this message after I didn't answer their call..

Automated voice call saying they will be taking money out of my account. If I want to cancel press 1.

I looked at eBay items. This number then began calling me. I did not answer.

Scam call.

Automated message saying call from eBay. Same as above.

said they were from ebay and someone was try to purchase and ebay gift card for $290 and asked did i want to block the transaction. When i said yes they tried to get me to tell them which bank i was with and tried to get me to open the app store on my phone.

Scam. Advising a 299.99 purchase.
