Thank you for letting me know it is a scam. I always seemed to miss the call and couldn't understand why their phone was disconnected when I called back. had two calls from them on the 6.9.18 and 7.9.18

Caller: Scam Telstra (07) 4695 7966

On Friday 7th Sept. 2018 between 12:00 noon to 12:40 pm SA time. I have received three calls to my (08) number and two calls to my mobile number. A recorded voice announces that the call is from Telstra. The English is good but with a hint of European accent. I am given reasons to press either of two options. Press 1 or press 2. I am not with Telstra and do not do anything but am told that my number will be disconnected.. The call waits a bit then disconnects. The calling number showed as (07) 4695 7966 . When it disconnected from my mobile my call/receiving history was wiped.

Caller: Telstra technician - bogus

Telstra and internet is being disconnected today. Press 1 to connect to TELSTRA, 2 for something else. Recorded announcement.
So dumb they think everyone is using TELSTRA for Internet.

Recorded message, claimed to be from Telstra. Advising my internet will be disconnecting today. Press 1 etc etc.

Caller: Automated Call - Claimed to be Telstra

Suspicious automated call telling me my internet was going to disconnected. It requested that I Press 1 for information of 2 to proceed with disconnection of internet.
