DO NOT FALL FOR THIS!!! Scam to lure compassionate people to donate.

Phone operator was clearly reading from a prepared script. I called her out on this and she laughed, along with a 'colleague' in the background. Despite this she again tired to read out her prepared script and chuckled when I again tried to call BS.

I usually brush such calls off however they are trying to swindle people who have good intentions.

Keeps on calling, same spiel asking for money for animals "In Shelter".

This (apparently non-existent) number keeps trying to call me even though I blocked the number when they called the first time without having the courtesy to leave a message to explain the intrusion. They're certainly persistent, these pests.

Woman pretending to be animal rescue - almost sounded like a recording. Wouldn’t take no for an answer and seemed very scammy so I hung up and blocked.

They rung twice and when I answered the second call, there was no reply for about 10 seconds and then they hung up.

Caller: Claiming to be a pet rescue

Very aggressive woman claiming to be from an Unidentified charity for pets. Immediately launches into a speech that repeats itself several times. Very aggressive when I tried to politely decline as I am at work. When I called back to check who it was I got a US accent voice message saying the number is not in service. SCAM!

Received a missed call on my mobile saying potential fraud; called the number back and it states (in an American accent) the number I have dialled is not in service?

Caller: Portraying to help animals in shelters

Asking for donations to help animals in shelters. I said I could not help as I needed our money to pay for my husbands chemotherapy treatment/medications and she totally disregarded what I said and asked for a one off donation instead of a payment plan. I lost it with her and ended call. She rang back giving spiel again and when I went off at her, she laughed and then she hung up. Tried to ring number back number but said it was not connected.

I called back the number (07) 4241 1331 and reached vm that did not mention the company name

When you call the number back there is a recorded message saying the number is not in service
