There are too many numbers calling me...... when I call back, A recorded message says, " the number you have dialed is not connected. " CONCLUSION..... it's the telco provider getting more revenue, by this method. Not happy.

This number rang my landline which rarely rings and the answering machine is permanently on for screening calls. I don't know anyone in QLD so didn't answer. We are on DNC list

Caller: There was no one there I answered by saying "yes?". There was no one saying anything on the other end and they quickly hung up. I thought silly me for answering like that as they may want that sort of response for a voice recording to fake my voice (for who knows what kind of dodgy stuff). So from now on I must remember not to answer that way and I would advise others not to either! Don't say yes or no or anything where they may use it as some form of permission.
Clearly the no-call register doesn't work or we wouldn't get this rubbish.

Caller: Don't know , Tried ringing back after missing call, number wasn't in service was the response I got , this number has rang me last 4 days , at varying times in the afternoon , doesn't ring long enough for me to answer it. You waste so much time thinking that it could be an important call that you keep missing.

Caller: Australian Pet Rescue The lady gave a spiel and asked for a donation. I said no, and then she said thank you for letting me give my spiel. Coincidently - my Facebook account had an attempt at being hacked later that night, also from a Qld address.

This phone number has called me on numerous occasions over the past few months. I suspect it is a scammer. I recommend to all to not answer and block this number in your phone.

Received numerous calls from this number, it IS a scam, initially it is just a recording of this woman introducing herself, you're waisting your breath trying to talk to her as it is an auto-cued recording. Simply hang up and block the number

Caller: Australian Pet Rescue The lady who called was persistent and despite my pleas that I could not afford to contribute any money she would not stop her demand for money. In the end I hung up. If her spiel had been of a more polite nature I may have conceded but her continued persistence and demand for money I began to become suspicious of her motives. Given the comments of other people who have been contacted I am firmly of the view that she was a con and was there for the illegal taking of money. I am going to find out if there is a Government department where this number can be reported as a scam. This women and her ilk need to spend some time in the clink to reflect on their actions.
