Rang 10:45 am 17 July 2018. Timed out before I could answer. An instant later, I received a missed call text. As this number isn't recognised by Reverse Australia, I called the number (normally I don't, but curiosity etc.) and received a Telco message "this number has been disconnected...etc.". I get calls like this at least once daily. I am beginning to wonder if it is the Telcos drumming up (artificial) business....

Missed a call from this number. Tried to calling but says it's disconnected. As what other posters mentioned, this may likely be a scam call.

Went to voicemail. Message left by a weird auto female voice was that the call was from Telstra and internet connection about to be cut off. That I should press #1 to pursue details. Seriously??? Didn't.

Recorded message saying it was from Telstra and my internet would be disconnected - Press 1 to prevent it happening and press 2 to continue with disconnection. I waited to hear options again or what would happen and it hung up after about 10 seconds.

How the hell do you stop these people calling you? So frustrating, they call you hang up then they call back saying the line was disconnected well hello probably because I hung up on you.
Sick to death of getting these type of scam calls where they tell you your internet is going to be disconnected because hackers are using my internet illegally , isnt it illegal to impersonate a telstra employee and try and extort money from people? Ive had enough .
If its not someone calling to tell me my internet through telstra is going to be disconnected when I dont even have internet through telstra its someone trying to sell me solar panels

Automated message claiming to be from Telstra. Scam / Hoax.

Said they were from Telstra and I was going to loose but internet I just hung up the phone

Caller: Scammers pretending to be Telstra

Rang and left automated message saying internet line was going to be disconnected tomorrow and to press 1 to fix. Hung up of course. Wife had 3 calls from them last week. How do they get a way with it ? Why does Telstra not disconnect the numbers or prosecute them?

Rang work phone 9.56am 20 July 2018.
Recorded message (Telstra?) advising our internet was about to be turned off ... then options to press a number for the rescue team, I hung up before the message finished.

Caller: above number - no name

claiming to be from Telstra and I needed to press a number to avoid being taken off the internet.....!!

Message left - Automated message telling me I had a problem with my internet. Scam!!!

I got a message that said it was from Telstra to inform me that my internet line was to be disconnected from today. I don't have an internet line and Telstra would not have my mobile number. Hoax.
