I called back the number (07) 3922 1003 and reached vm that said I reached Suncorp

Caller: Suncorp

Caller claimed to be from Suncorp. Gave me my full name, address, account types etc and asked for ID verification by email and DOB. Asked if satisfied with any products, did I have any questions etc. Told me about new app and emailed link to follow. Bit dubious so called Suncorp who have no record of those calls happening? Not sure if legit or not.

I get them all the time it is legit from Suncorp. They try to cross sell to Suncorp customers. I have asked them 3 times not to call my mobile number during business hours as I can't answer my mobile at work, but they persist. Bloody annoying!!!

I reported this number on Suncorp facebook page. Here is their reply:

Thanks for bringing this to our attention XXXXXXXX. We've passed this information on to the relevant team to look in to further. If you receive any other calls like this, please don't provide any details over the phone and call us on 13 11 55 to confirm if we have made contact with you.

received many daily call from this number, did not answer, have blocked the number now

recieved numorous missed calls from this number. they only all let the phone ring once and hang up. not sure who it is.

Similar to the below. Claiming to be Suncorp to check on my satisfaction with products. I said the time didn't suit, they stated they would call back. They have called me 8 times in the past two weeks. I have now blocked the number

Similar to above, checked my details then asked for my DOB to confirm, I promptly said it you have it, then tell me my DOB. She then it is part of verifying, I can't see how satisfied you are with products without verifying. Sounded dodgy to me!!

I received a phone call from (07) 3922 1003 claiming to be Suncorp. They asked me to confirm my full name and wanted information about whether my personal situation had changed. I told them I was busy at work, and they said they would call back after hours. They were attempting to collect my personal data and I am unsure whether they were actually from Suncorp or a phishing scam.

Called back and it said suncorp, unfortunately by the reviews below I used to work for suncorp a few years ago and in the branches we would have to do cold calls to try cross sell it was the most annoying thing in the world for us and to the customers so ibelieve this proberbly is real

100% scam. Confirmed with multiple departments at Suncorp. Don't pickup and save yourself 1.5 hours on the phone

Suncorp NEVER EVER ask you to confirm details via phone or email..my hubby is getting harassed by this number...Suncorp confirmed NOT THEM AND THERE IS NO SUB DEPARTMENT MAKING COLD CALLS TO SEE IF YOU'RE HAPPY!!

Claiming to be Suncorp. ITS FAKE. Phoned Suncorp and they have stated it’s definitely not them

ok, this ISN'T a phishing scam as reported. I checked with Suncorp and it's a new marketing arm that makes an harrassing amount of calls. Also, them asking for account goes against Suncorp's own security policy.
