Caller: A survey type company

I had a full conversation with the caller, as they seemed legit. They organised a time for a consultant to come to the house, said I would receive a text message the day before to confirm or change times. They already had my name, address and phone number. They asked about home ownership status and financial position, approx debt, savings and value of the property. This was apparently to inform the consultants 20min presentation to me on a financial tool. They did not ask for date of birth, banking details, or other personal information. I'm concerned, have changed phone numbers, email, lodged it as a scam with Telstra (because they could investigate the number), adding new layers of security to my banking, and lodged a report with https://www.idcare.org. We will see what happens next week, at this point I'm calling it a scam.

Rang and I answered. Knew my name.

Caller: Survey Hub - Scammer

This number called our work reception saying they were Jessie from Survey Hub. She said she was calling in regards to our interest in becoming a mystery shopper which paid $50. I asked who expressed interest and the person provided the name of someone in our office. I put the person on hold to ask my colleague whether they had signed up to be a mystery shopper - they had not. Clearly a scam call where they would have eventually asked for bank details to be paid the "$50" into. Called hung up while on hold. Avoid.

Called it back 15mins after they called me.
“Optus advises that the number you have called has been disconnected”.

This was a spam caller. Said I signed up for a secret shopper site, tried to book me in for a "job" with a company to come around and do a 20 minute presentation and I would recieve $50 for doing a response survey about their sales speil.

Told them I was not interested and they still tried to book a date, told them aga8i was not interested so he hung up on me.

I called back the number and it says the number is disconnected, I don't know how they make it look like a legit number.

Missed call to mobile. No message left.

Missed call to my mobile from this number. On call back message "optus regrets this mobile is disconnected".
