A person with a strong accent called, there was a pause before they said "Hello, my name is Kelly and I am calling about your car accident" -- which I did not have.

So, I have hung up and blocked them. SPAM

Scam caller. Claimed from RACQ with car accident involved. Asking for money to avoid court letters.
I believe the information has been leaked out from insurance company, maybe due to WFH.
I did have an accident, that India caller has all the correct information about the accident, my name , address, phone, the other person’s details, accident happen time and location.
I did not believe him, and contact the other accident party, he received the same number phone call.

Caller: Some Indian or Pakistani sounding guy claiming to be calling on behalf of some company i couldn’t understand

Claimed he was calling regarding a car accident i was recently involved in. When i asked him to repeat his name and company he was calling from it was even more muffled. I informed him I knew he was trying to scam me as i have not been in an accident and he played dumb and said no ma’am its not a scam i am calling about your accident. I told him to “f “ off and get a real job and stop trying to extort money from hard working Australians trying to support their families as i was sick of being called by people like him trying to con money from innocent people especially at this difficult time of year. He kept insisting its not a scam and i kept abusing him until he eventually hung up! Have had multiple calls like this one recently!!

Ask them for details of the accident. They hang up. I have had multiple calls from this number and numerous calls on the same script. I think they should be reported as a scam. Who do u report them to??
