Recorded message saying its a claims department and asking if you have been involved in a car accident. Press 1 if you have or press 2 to remove from list. Spoke to a person with an irish accent who introduced his company as 'follow up services'....Upon my enquiry as to location of the business he replied 'Ann St Brisbane'....I requested the full address to which he replied that I 'was not entitled to such'....I accused him of being a scammer to which he replied that 'you are the scammer because you purported to have been in an accident' and 'I will report you' and hung up. I phoned the number again and upon choosing option 1 got connected to the same sounding person. AN IRISH SCAMMER.....BEWARE …..CONSUME HIS TIME AND SAVE OTHER NON SWITCHED PEOPLE FROM GETTING SCAMMED

Crappy response recording, can't make out what was said other than "next available operator" message. Then just rings for ages with nothing picked up.

UPDATE ..this time call got answered by an English sounding female 'receptionist' who qualified me as to whether I was injured in an accident and suffered any injuries. Upon confirmation she switched me to an English speaking male person (thought he was irish initially) who introduced himself as 'liam'. He know my Christian and family name and phone number. He requested my DOB and my address (I gave him an incorrect address) to send out paperwork. He purported that he could arrange a payout for any sufferance I suffer as a result of the said accident without ever attending court (haha ….as if insurance companies just write cheques ....) Upon showing interest he said that he would have his colleague call me to progress the claim......WILL KEEP YOU ALL INFORMED OF THE SCAM

This was a robo call regarding everything everyone else has confirmed above. I didn't answer. My 10 second voice to text message captured enough to confirm it was the same mob.

Caller: Amanda from Claims Department

Number ‭(07) 3810 2520/">(07) 3810 2520‬ came up as an Ipswitch, QLD phone number.

Missed the call the left the following voice to text:
You missed a call from (07) 3810 2520, who said "In the last(?) six months. Press one. If you want your number removed. Press two." This message was provided by XXXXX at no charge to you.

Called the number back and got a recorded message:
Amanda from Claims Department, If you have been in an accident in the last 6 months press 1, if you wish to have your number removed press 2.

As previous reports her have said, it’s a scam.

I had a similar experience today. 2 Irish / Scottish sounding men asking if I had an accident and wanting me to put in a claim to be compensated. Even said they would have my insurance company call me. Very dodgy!!
