He rang one of my friends about 3 months ago about her being in a car accident and she's like I don't even have my learners, anyways he was trying to get her to confirm some details like home address and email and phone number blah blah blah
I grabbed the phone cause my mum had been hacked a few months before that and I demanded more information on who they where and hey reason they were calling, he kept ignoring the questions and just asking to confirm details, I told him to f*ck off and hung up blocked the number on her phone, then a week later I myself got a call from him and instantly abused him hung up and blocked the number. That was 3 months ago he just tried calling me again but I didn't answer!
No one fall for it

I rang the number back as it was unknown. No message left for me. I received an answer phone, english accent for a company called "Roper" or "Roadper" and that I was in a queue. Sounds like the same scam.

Spam

Called me a few minutes ago about an accident I’ve never had. I didn’t let him get a word in sideways told him it was a scam and then hung up. I then blocked the phone.

A recording from an English accent saying that there from and intelligence agency and then gave a phone number to opt out I had no way of recording the number. SCAM I would say

these people rang me twice in 2 days running, after I had already told them not ring any more from a previous call

Missed the call, then it called back... a muffled recorded message I couldn't understand. Sounded northern Irish. Blocked the number.

Irish or english accent. Claimed to be from CWA or TWA or something. Said he was calling in regard to my recent car accident. I said I hadn't been in one and he hung up on me

huh, just got a call from this number, Irish accent asking for me but wouldn't tell me who he was so I hung up then looked up the number, will be blocking it

Scam call - asking about traffic incident that didn't happen

Just got this phone call on my mobile and they hung up immediately

Called about some car accident I've been in apparently, when I advised I had not been in one and queried for the police record, he advised me that the claim has been filed and to consider myself notified. Clearly someone trying to find suckers.
