Scottish accent called asked if I was in an accident in the last 12 month. when I queried where he is calling from and in what relation this is he said it is a company called "CWS" and then simply hang up/

This is most certainly a scam call - they do however have some personal details which they have probably purchased from someone legitimate who has sold their customer roll. They are not good at what they do though and are easily spooked when you push back for info about them and their company. I am on the do not call register so this is not good.

Missed the call, but when I rang back they fellow with a Birmingham UK accent said my name to confirm, adding the person waas calling about an accident in a suburb I lived in over four years ago. When I said I was at the other end of the country he mumbled something and hung up.

Claims i was in an accident in the last 12 months. Asked for the details,as i know i haven't been, he couldn't supply any details and became aggressive. total bullsh*t scam

They have called me several times wanting to discuss the car accident I had recently. I played along and asked what car they have recorded for this file, when was the accident etc etc until I got bored and told them I would call the police. LOL did they hang up fast.

I rang back after checking the comments on here and can confirm it's CWA re a traffic accident. Don't take the call if you see this number or if you hear that the company is CWA.

He talked something strange. I straight away hung up and look up the phone number online. Found it is a Australian Reverse charge phone. He called me without my consent. It is clearly a scam. Be very careful. The problem now, is he able to identify & locate us through our phone number and cause further harm particularly he appears to want all your life savings!!!

Asked me for details about my recent car accident. I said I hadn't been in an accident, he said yes as he had all my details from the other party's insurance claiming I ran into their client. I again said NO and then he said well have you been in an accident in the last 12 months? I again said NO. He asked was I sure... UMMMM yes, I'm sure! He hung up,

Scam call about a traffic accident.....

I also got a call Today and asked to call for the Intelligence or something. I am surprised why Australian Police can not control these types of scam.

Again about a traffic accident which I haven't had. Surely the Telcom companies can shut these numbers down. They are a nuisance at best and some vulnerable people get conned by them which is so sad.

Yep, it's the same dodgy scam and Irish accent calling about an apparent accident I was involved in.

Yet another 37031064 call received today 14th Dec 2017 - Yes sounded like some intelligent agency calling. It was obviously a recording and yes it was a British accent. Blocked the number IMMEDIATELY.

Called on my mobile with yorkshire type accent. He asked for me by name and and I was immediately suspicious, I asked him who he was and he didn't give his name just said he was from some CS group and it was about an accident I had had on the motorway. I said "really?, this bullsh*t mate!" He kept trying to talk as I hung up. I rang back on my landline and some woman with an english type accent( there's 1000 accents from england), said you reached "road care and your call is in a queue, please hold" Full on scam
