I have had three missed calls over three days from different numbers, (03) 9113 5922, (02) 9059 6701 and (07) 3557 2424. Each search I have completed have come up with similar responses...Public Outreach or scam type call.

does this mean its a survey phone call?

Two different numbers with 2 calls, phone alerted potential fraud

Young mail said he was representing all policing agencies in Australia. I got a recorded message about the same "policing agencies" from a different number asking me to respond via text to opt out otherwise they would call me. Not sure if legit but sounded dodgy.

I told them to call back after I checked out their number.
(07) 3557 2254 is a listed number for the Social Research Centre, a subsidiary of the Australian National University (ANU). https://www.srcentre.com.au/research-participants

They do various surveys, especially for the Australian governments.

It looks like a genuine survey, and they are exempt from the Australian Do Not Call Register.

A young sounding man said he was from the RSL. As soon as he told me he was calling from Melbourne I took it as a scam because it was a Brisbane number. I hung up as soon as they started asking for personal details like where I live.
