Caller: DEBT COLLECTORS CALLED AUSTRALIAN RECEIVABLES LIMITED Just spoke to someone who called from (07) 3532 2200 who said they debt collect for Urban Utilities. I told them I was in financial hardship and I was transferred to a lovely lady called Karen Hughes at Urban Utilities. She was so helpful and amazing and it makes me wonder why companies cant employ more people like her. She treated me with respect and dignity and she clearly wanted to help with me with my water bill.

Caller: ARL Missed this call and called back claiming to be ARL and I have nothing a debt collector would ever call me for. Kept asking me to provide personal information within seconds of asking if she was speaking to 'name' although they were the ones calling me?
Very dodgy.

Caller: company called ARL - saying they are Ergon Female representative called mumbled a greeting and a name and proceeded to identify herself as an ERGON REPRESENTATIVE & that I had an outstanding unfinalised bill, UPON contacting Ergon myself immediately after this call when i realised the person I was talking too had no Account number or access to any of my identifying information (which she demanded I give her my birthdate, address and middle name to identify myself when she called, which a real ergon rep would already HAVE considering we have only ergon to provide electricity in my region) was told there was no outstanding bill at all and that they had no knowledge of this number, agency or contact. Probable Dangerous SCAM
