Tried to ring the number back twice and call fails, suspect this is spammer from Brisbane Qld Australia.

Caller: claimed to be from NBN

Claimed to be from NBN, said they had been monitoring out speed over the last few days and it was slow and wanted me to do a speed test, and was making some offer. I ended the call.

Claimed to have been monitoring my nbn speed & wanted to do some tests. Asked me to check what lights were on - so I strung him along for a few minutes pretending to check the modem while I was watching the tv. He ended up getting angry & hung up after I asked him what it was like to be scammed!

NBN scam as per most other comments re this number

A woman claiming to be from Amazon Prime saying my account would be deducted and did I want to continue the service or not. I don't have Amazon Prime. How stupid are these morons?

Called claiming to be Netflix saying that my subscription was ending today, and I could either cancel or renew. I asked to cancel (thinking they would hang up) and he asked me to download Zoho Assist and enter a 9 digit "cancellation code". While waiting for him to come up with the code the call ended.

Hung up as soon as I answered, suspect spam so blocked

Absolutely a scammer. Called regarding the NBN service was slow and they were offering a free upgrade. Although the male caller claimed to be from NBN, no work on NBN equipment was planned. The caller only wanted to access to my modem that is connected to the NBN equipment.
First contact had caller ID 0403 403 204.

Now blocked and deleted

called saying from NBN, wanting to do free upgrad due to issues e had. anted me to install a remote access program to mobile when said could not use lappy -anydesk for speed tests.
Asked where calling from said Melbourne (07 number is qld) and was the public holiday on melbourne which they did not know. they got abusive when and said you will not get upgrade. I asked for details for ombudsman, they hung up

Said they were from NBN and modern was being monitor and was running slow. Asked for me to check my lights on modern. I said I wasn't home. He wanted to know when I'd be home. I asked for a phone number to call them. He said he would email me as they had an 1800 but wouldn't give it to me.

NBN scam caller - attempting to gain remote access to PC.

NBN scam relating to the slowing speed etc. said I didn’t believe him and said if you are from the NBN send me a letter to my address. Surprisingly no response from the flog

Claimed to be from NBN and wanting to speak to me about my modem, when I told him I wasnt interested he made some horrendous comments which to be honest I was like WTAF he surely didnt say that to me, and I said I beg your pardon when he expressed some ridiculous sexual comments and I hung up
