Caller: Allegedly Australian Bureau of Statistics

Have called me three times asking for me by name and wanting me to participate in a survey. The first time I politely declined and the girl mumbled something about Australians and called me a motherf*cker!The next two callers simply hung up when I said I didn’t wish to participate.

They asked "Is this Mrs ???" (my partners last name). I said "no" and he said "ok, goodbye" and hung up.

Caller: Foreign voice, and claimed to be doing a survey on behalf of Sunshine Coast Council. Asked my age group (above 50), and if I was working (retired). Then hung up after wishing me good day.

I ring Sunshine Coast Council to let them know about the call. I think they were phishing.

I Didn't answer phone as don't know anyone from Queensland, they left a voicemail the guy was just breathing, then followed by singing that sounded Indian, then laughing.... he sounded rather retarded!

Said they were doing survey. Refused to identify where they were calling from. Very rude caller.

Called said she was from ABS (Australian Bureau of Statistics) and wanted to know my age and other details. She wouldn't tell me what the survey was about, other than about 'here in Australia'.

I called number but it just rang out scam

No verbal response from caller, followed by laughing.

They asked for a "Mr Johnson." I said "NO"
And they hung up!
