Caller: Indian Fellow

Indian Fellow from "Australian VISA and Mastercard Fraud Section" advising that my card had been used twice on Amazon to buy Gift Cards. Wanted to refund me my money. Nice Indian Fellow. Funny how all Australian Government and Agencies are Indian Fellows with Pseudo American accents??? Must be something in the water. Mmmmmmmmm

This Indian bloke rang claiming to be from Microsoft saying my email was being hacked and Microsoft had sent emails to advise of this. I said I have not received any and he said he would hang on while I had a look. Told him I did not need help from him and would get a friend who is a computer expert to fix the problem. The idiot forgot he has rung me in the past and I remembered the sob story from last time. Definitely a scam when Microsoft ring from a Brisbane landline lol.

Called at 6.40pm on our landline .It was an Indian bloke trying to sound as if he has less of an accent - call centre noises in background . He stated that he was from Telstra about a problem I was having <LOL> I told him to take a running jump & stop being a scammer & hung up.

Caller: Indian-accented man claiming to be "Nathan Williams"

Rang my mobile, claiming to be calling from the "Telstra Technical Department" in Melbourne (even though he was on a Queensland number). He said my private IP address had become public and that dire things would happen if I did not do what he wanted. Thanks to this website, it was clear he was another scammer.

Called me and I answered but did not speak as a QLD number calling when I'm from VIC is suspicious.
They stayed on the phone for 15 seconds before hanging up, as they were waiting for me to speak
number blocked.
