Amazon recording saying they are deducting $99.99 from account for renewal. Why are our telecommunication companies not doing something about the continuous scam calls millions of people are getting daily? I am on a "do not call" register - so how are they allowed to be getting away with this?

Called about Telstra (who I’m not with).

Caller: eBay HQ

Claimed to be from eBay HQ in LA calling to verify if I had ordered a $500 apple gift card as was detected by their payment system as a potential scam eBay wanted me to be aware of and offered to try and stop order being charged to my account (which I don’t have)🤣 Caller also knew my full name and post code.

Scam. Calls repeatedly but never answers and never leaves message. Stupidly rings the same time of day as other fake Teltstra, banking and paypal scams.

Scam - no number on callback

Yet another scam.

Caller from “Telstra” asking to speak to someone who wasn’t me.
Then said I had a really beautiful voice lol

Person saying they are calling from Roy Morgan which is market research asking to speak to my employer, hung up on me when I asked what the call was about.

Scam caller. I didn’t pick up, they left voicemail saying they’re renewing my Amazon account for $99.99. I don’t use Amazon.
