2 missed calls but when I tried to call back it kept dropping out. Suspect it's spam.

Caller: Claimed they are Credit Card company

Received call from (07) 3521 3087. I heard a female recorded voice claiming the call is from my Visa Credit Card company, and ask me to either press 1 to talk to someone or press 2 to approve a payment of $800 for gift card that I purchased. I think it is a scam and have hung up.

An Indian dude called claiming to be from Telstra and he noticed my internet was slow. I played along a little bit to see how he would try to scam. Went through some questions relating to devices being used. Asked me to look at my keyboard and see the CRTL key on the bottom left. I told him I didn't have one as it was a MAC. He said, do you have an Android or iOS phone. At this point I had heard enough and told him that I was going to end the call as it was legitimate. Before I could hang up the dude was a puff of smoke, gonski. It's a local Brisbane number. How are these scammers getting these numbers? I tried calling back twice and both time, the number shows as Call Failed. Figured as much.
