The guy said he was from Telstra Technical Dept and that I must have a virus on my pc at home - I haven’t been with Telstra for more than 2 decades. These idiots are a nuisance!

CLAIMED TO BE SOMEONE TO INVESTIGATE A $1000 PAYMENT MADE TO MY ACCOUNT AND PAYMENT WAS BEING HELD TILL THEY INVESTIGATED IT. ASKED ME WHO I BANKED WITH. WHEN I CHALLENGED THEM AND ASKED WHAT BANK DETAILS THEY HAD OF MINE, THEY NAMED 2 BANKS WHO I HAVE NEVER BANKED WITH THEN SAID WE MUST HAVE THE WRONG PERSON. THEN HUNG UP

Automated message saying money was deducted from my Amazon prime account which I don’t have, have tried calling them back numerous times to return the favour - no answer.

Caller said she's calling from Vodafone and wanted to give me 50% discount on my bill for the next six months. She then went on asking for my 4 digit pin. I declined it and hang up.

Caller claimed to be from Master Visa Security, which is a really poor attempt at a scam. They hung up when pressed (very gently) for more details

Silence
